This past Saturday I was reminded how good it felt to sign my book for my readers. I was also reminded as to why I write on the topics that I do. When my readers are able to identify with the story written, I'm a happy girl. It means that I am doing my job.
I choked back tears when one reader thanked me for having the courage to write Traci's Story as she told me her story about alcoholism running in her family and the things she was doing to cope with her daily struggle. Then she told me that mixing romance and drama with such taboo topics help keep the book interesting without being depressing.
With all my best, I dedicate this blog entry to my readers and to others who are still struggling to find the strength to make that important decision. Even if it's a momentary victory.
